I enjoy making leather items and I make them when in the mood. ENTIRELY by hand. Without using any mechanical device.

Japanese Wabi - Sabi inspires me. So what I make tends to be no-frills, simple, elegant, useful and extremely durable. With a light touch of Wabi - Sabi.

The Wabi-Sabi aesthetic includes asymmetry, asperity (roughness or irregularity), simplicity, economy, austerity, modesty, intimacy and appreciation of the ingenuous integrity of natural objects and processes. I think hand crafted leather work lends itself completely to these qualities.
